Blue Cross Announcing Temporary Hold On Individual Applications

Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Il has announced that due to the implementation of the Affordable Care Act products, which will be available for effective dates begining  01/01/2014, they will need to temporarily stop selling individual major medical products on Aug. 30, 2013, with the latest policy effective date of Sept. 28, 2013. Blue Cross will be selling their temporary insurance product for individuals needing coverage until 01/01/2014, however temporary policies do not cover pre-existing conditions.  If your COBRA is due to run out soon and will be needing to get coverage then NOW is the time to apply!  Click here to get a quote and get your application started.
